My illustrative report for my two films Introduction My report will be focused on the first Karate Kid made in 1984 and the remake of the Karate Kid made in 2010. The report will cover the way the story is told and how it has changed, also the techniques that are used throughout the films. For example, Mise en scene and sound effects etc. However, finding the relationship between the two films will be valid for this report as well as knowing the specifics about the production of each film. The use of the american culture and the chinese culture blending together evaluates the storyline and how they will introduce one another's cultures throughout the film. For example, the normal living life of an american person and then the karate fighting tournaments and training they pursue throughout the films. The producer for the first Karate Kid film was Jerry Weintraub and the director was John G. Avildsen. Also for the remake of the karate Kid, the producers where
